RF Online - "The beginning to the new world"
RF Online's PvP/RvR is a user's endeavor to ensure the survival of race. Although your victory will not guarantee the survival of your race, winning the race war will grant your survival and victory. There are two kinds of War in RF Online, first is a RvR that be held in the hunting or neutral territories and second, will be a Regulation-System-Warfare (Chip War) where each race will battle three times a day per regions.
Regional War can be occurred in a Free-for-All manner or as a guild war. The battle ground is usually a neutral settlements (Bellato-Solus, Anacade, Cora-Haram, Numerus, Accretia - Armory 117, Armory 213) or other regions (Ether, Sette Desert, Cauldron, Volcanic area). If you are hunting in these specific areas be ware of unwanted regional War.
Some War might go out of hand and cause emotional conflict between users; hence each user should maintain a fare amount of respect and mannerism towards their opponents.
It occurs three times a day (6:00, 14:00, and 22:00) and it's the greatest War between races in RF Online. The three races will be battling for control on the holystone and winning race will have the exclusive rights of mining the holystone.

Starting the quest for Regulation-System-Warfare
 
To complete the quest for Regulation-System-Warfare, there are two requirements that need to be fulfilled.
1. Acquiring Regulation Equipment (winning)
  Each race is granted with regulation equipment, destroying other race's equipment will bring victory. To prevent such events from occurring effortless, each regulation equipment is guarded by monsters to guard each races nearby portals and crystals.
2. Acquiring The Holymental Scanner
  An item that is dropped by the guardmob (also called Crymob) that is near the each race's regulation equipment. Since the item can only be dropped when the regulation equipment appears in the game, there are no ways for a user to acquire this item through means of trade.
If a user did not acquire the Holymental Scanners, player cannot undergo mining activities even if they won the battle.

Acquiring the regulation system (winning)
 
The winning race will be granted rights to safely mine the holystone. Also the users of the winning race in the war, who have acquired the holy mental scanners, will be rewarded with game money that is worth 5,000~ 10,000 (user from the losing side of the war will be penalized by having their contribution rate decreased by 2,500)

From what you can see from the table on the left, the clan leaders will have an additional PVP point increase. (by preference PVP point can be rewarded as game money instead)
 
 
 
Appearance of the Holystone Keeper
When the regulation system is acquired, the holystone keeper that is in favor of the winning race will appear after 10 minutes. The Holystone keeper has the power to immediately annihilate any enemy race.
Mining the Holystone
The race that controls the mining fields will be able to mine the holystone quickly under the shelter of the holystone keeper. The time limit on controlling the mining field is effected by two different variables.
A. when the player with the regulation system successfully infiltrates into the mining fields within 10 minutes.
The user will be granted with have the advantageous time no matter the HP of the regulation system. Also the user will be granted with holystones keeper's Chaos time in addition to the time given.(The advantageous time limit will last until 1 hour before the next race war starts)
B. when the player with the regulation system fails to infiltrate into the mining fields within 10 minutes.
The longevity of the time limit will completely be dependent upon the HP left on the regulation system.
Holystone Keeper Chaos
When the time limit set on mining is depleted, the Holystone keeper will return to Chaos status.
At this stage any race can freely hinder the mining activities, although mining is still possible during that time, it is strongly recommended that all mining activities should stop and evacuating from the mining fields should be set as priority. Chaos time is at least 1 hour.
Disappearance of the Holystone keeper
The Holystone keeper (that is in the Chaos stage) will disappear 10 minutes prior to new regulation system warfare starts.
Guard Monster

Guard monsters are placed adjacent to regulation system, and Portals. They are only friendly towards their same race and are enemies to other races. Since they are extremely powerful, be aware of these monsters on the battlefields. The user will be penalized, with losing experience points, when killing the guard monsters that are adjacent to the portals, so be aware (However, the user will not lose experience points when killed by the guard monsters)

Although these monsters have HP’s that are less than 1, they are extremely powerful. The user, who wishes to take advantage of the mining fields, should be careful not to kill or be killed the monster. But since they drop the holy mental scanners, be sure to kill these monsters during the regulation system warfare.
